Zain Eliasson9 months ago Spring Garden Ave at Willowdale Ave has new traffic signals. The signal for Spring Garden Ave only changes if a vehicle is detected at the intersection. Otherwise the signal stays green for Willowdale traffic.While there is a symbol indicating where bicycles should wait eastbound Spring Garden, there is no such symbol westbound Spring Garden. A cyclist who wants to go straight or turn left must wait for a car, or treat the broken red as a stop sign.I have sent complaints into 311. They responded that they would investigate, which would take months. Months is too long! Someone needs to go there, look at ground and see there is no symbol. After more than a year and several complaints, there is no symbol.

J H1 year ago GIven the concentration of nearby restaurants and takeout spots, it's very common to see illegally stopped/parked cars on the north side of Byng Avenue in the evening. This effectively reduces the street to one lane, causing traffic gridlock as drivers try to access Yonge Street or Doris Avenue via Byng avenue.I'd like to recommend exploring automated parking enforcement or increased parking enforcement in the evening. Enforcement will be especially important if the plan is to extend Byng avenue to connect to Beecroft in the future.
