Lets Talk Traffic Willowdale
In light of the development set to take place under the North York at the Centre Secondary Plan, our office is conducting an ongoing traffic regulation review across Willowdale to help improve traffic flow, road safety, parking management, and overall neighbourhood mobility. We’re inviting residents to share feedback on where traffic challenges exist now — and where improvements will be needed as our community continues to grow.
Through this initiative, we are looking to identify streets and intersections where City staff could consider improvements, including:
- Reducing speed limits
- Installing pedestrian crossings or traffic control signals
- Adding or adjusting “No Standing / No Parking” zones
- Improving safety in high-traffic areas and near schools, parks, and transit
We want to hear from residents about where congestion, speeding, safety concerns, or parking issues are most noticeable in Willowdale. Highlight areas you think need attention, tell us what the problem is, and suggest solutions that could help ease traffic, improve safety, and protect quality of life in our neighbourhoods.
