Avondale Ave Street Parking Survey

Traffic flow during Avondale Public School's pick-up and drop-off times are currently busy and unsafe due to the lack of legal parking nearby. Particularly during pick up times, parents must park their cars for upwards for 15 minutes while they search for their child in the school grounds - and without legal parking options, Avondale Ave becomes very chaotic.

In response to above concerns raised, Councillor Cheng is conducting a survey to receive feedback on a proposal to implement 15-minute interval parking on the south side of Avondale Ave, between Burnwell St and Willowdale Ave. during school drop off and pick up times. Please read the survey questions carefully and give us your opinion on the proposed parking bylaw change.

Should this interval parking be implemented on the South side of Avondale Ave, Councillor Cheng will also be be requesting and supporting enforcement on the northside of Avondale Ave. 

Survey will be open until October 11th, 2024 at 5 pm. Collected responses will inform whether this proposal will be brought to North York Community Council.
