Way to bias the discussion.

I'm really disappointed in the way this post framed the discussion by introducing it as a pet benefit just for the residents of one building (despite benefiting anyone that walks through here.)

You put more emphasis on how close it is to intersections, but ignore the reality of people already crossing / wanting to cross.

You then go on to frame it as an unecessary expense (despite being a very low cost action)

This really comes across as a fishing expedition to draw negative responses to justify not doing anything for the safety Willowdale pedestrians.

The majority of your constituents would never notice whether this exists or not. But you have raised the discussion in a way for them to get angry at lazy people wanting to spend their money.
