Traffic calming at the entrance of Hendon Park

Children cross here to get into and out of of Hendon Park. Drivers often drive much too fast along Hendon Ave, making it unnecessarily dangerous. Traffic calming is needed around Hendon and Eldora, where kids cross.

There's a 4 way stop intersection at Greenview and Hendon, just north of Eldora, and also at Talbot and Hendon, and the sidewalk is on the west side of Hendon avenue. Is there a reason kids are crossing at Eldora?
