Caswell Park would be a perfect place to add a public tennis court for local residents to enjoy playing tennis without having to pay extra fee and get no play times as at the Lillian Park tennis courts. The Lillian park is always occupied by private tennis lessons. Even on posted weekend free public play hours, the gate would be locked and the public still could not access the courts

I would suggest building one court with nets appropriate for tennis and another for pickleball at Caswell Park. If there is an adjustable net system out there that can be adjusted for tennis & pickleball heights that would allow the courts to be used for either sport, as lines could be painted for both. Alternatively, the existing tennis courts at Wedgewood Park could remain dedicated for tennis, and new pickle ball courts would benefit Caswell Park or Aneta Circle Park.
