Speed Bumps instead of Speed Cameras
From "Share Your Project and Policy Ideas"
Go to the project

Speed cameras hide and secretly photograph vehicles that are speeding. They then send fines to the owners of those vehicles.
I do not believe that this is the kind of thing a mayor, city councillors, or municipal officials—people who are supposed to work for the benefit of citizens—should be doing.
If the goal is to prevent speeding, then instead of relying on cameras, install more speed bumps. Speed bumps slow vehicles down immediately and help make roads safer for everyone.
