Sidewalk extension / sightline remediation at Finch pickup/dropoff access W of Yonge

Currently, travelling eastbound across the Finch PU/DO as a cyclist is especially sketchy, due to the narrow sidewalk and mixing of pedestrians/cyclists and sightline blockages requiring vehicles to creep into the sidewalk to see past the bush. I either have to grab the brakes as vehicles creep too closely to me, or weave around the access queue when vehicles block the sidewalk altogether. I'm a decently confident cyclist but I can imagine it's a lot harder for a fresher cyclist to navigate these blockages.

I understand that per the HTA, cyclists are technically not allowed to ride on the sidewalk. However,
- Turning left out onto Hendon and then coming back over at Yonge to access the Hydro downstream is equally dicey with all the traffic on Hendon throughout the day
- The majority of less confident cyclists tend to go with the sidewalk approach anyways
Given that Hendon is well above the City's lane width minimums, it would be nice to either:
- Explore a permanent option to eliminate the underused north curbside on-on-street dropoff spaces to widen the north sidewalk into a MUP or bi-directional cycle track + sidewalk
- Explore an interim solution to eliminate sightline blockages looking west, while also setting back the stopbar to affirm intervisibility between motorists and cyclists
- Maybe even consider an on-street quick-build protected contraflow solution for cyclists? Although even I am a little sketched out by this idea
