Request for a Traffic Safety Review and Consideration of an All-Way Stop at Dudley Avenue and Olive Avenue

I am writing to request that Transportation Services conduct a traffic safety review of the intersection of Dudley Avenue and Olive Avenue and consider the installation of an all-way stop.

As a resident and regular user of this intersection, I have observed several conditions that I believe create unnecessary safety risks for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and nearby residents.

The traffic on Dudley does not stop at Olive and pedestrians or cyclists who need to cross may assume it does because the nearby intersections are all-way stops, and may attempt to cross the street when cars are coming. Many children walk in this area before and after school.
