No Crosswalk Required

There is a stoplight 75 metres away from the proposed crosswalk. People can walk to the stoplight. There is also a small road from the condos in the area that connect with Park Home Ave between Yonge St and Beecroft, and a number of near accidents at this location due to drivers being unable to see beyond the parked cars there. Adding a crosswalk will result in more quick stopping and increase the potential for more accidents at that location. We have more important things to spend the city’s time and money on. Walk to the stoplight.
