install speed humps on the south end of Botham Road

I sit on the Catholic School Parent Council at St. Edward’s Catholic School and am chair of the school Safety Committee.

You may be aware that traffic safety around St. Edward’s has been top of mind for our students, staff, parents and the entire St. Edward’s community for several years. We have tried multiple times to get a crossing guard assigned to the school, but to no avail. Accordingly, we are now seeking to implement traffic calming measures that will help to better safeguard our community. Speed bumps on the south end of Botham Road leading to the school, is specifically what we’re after.

With speed cameras being eliminated by the province as of November 14, 2025, we understand that the province is now directing funds towards other traffic calming measures. We need your help and support to access this funding to have speed bumps implemented to ensure student safety.
