Improve Hendon and Edithvale Park

Hendon Park

• new playground structure needed
• improved lines to indicate hydro line bike path passes in front of the playground and softball diamond (many kids run across the bike path because it's beside the playground)
• crosswalk in front of Hendon Park entrance (crossing onto Kensington Ave.)
• re-paving of tennis courts which are uneven and falling apart. The ball doesn't even bounce properly and it's flooded after rainfall near the fence door so you can't even get in (see photo)

Edithvale Park

• can create pickleball courts in many of the unused green spaces (behind the parking lot, where Holcolm Rd meets Edithvale Dr
• off-leash dog area
• more lighting
• more signs near the basketball courts to indicate no smoking (esp. pot) or vaping
