Hello

It's been 2 months that 4 to 5 tents for homeless pepople showed off in the centre park. This park is so small and there is a kid's playground on it as well as community take their dogs for walk there.

There is no puplic washroom of facility in this park as it is a very small park. It is concerning what the campers at this park do whil ethey need a washroom? It is been communicated with 311 line already but no action so far.

The hygiene of campers and the community who use the park is a big concern. There are a lot of dirty towels and wastes dumped at all corners at this park.

Let's brainstorm what we can do in order to help and support everybody here.

Thanks

No, it’s legal for them to camp there. They need to the police and tear down the camps. We don’t want people here doing drugs and having overdoses enough is enough.

If nearby United Church Drop-Inn organizers were willing to add showers and washing machines I would donate to them. Or could the city add staff to Douglas Snow swimming pool, hand out key tags, and welcome campers in to the showers and lockers there?
