Thank you for this feedback. Unfortunately, traffic cameras for this purpose are currently not authorized in our city, nor would this be eligible for participatory budgeting. However, we can ask staff to look at this crosswalk and see if they can put a stoplight for crossing instead, as has been done on Doris Avenue.

People are not stopping for pedestrians on the crosswalk with the lights flashing. In fact they will even drive past you as as you cross and wave and some are oblivious to the fact that you are in the middle of a crosswalk. Police informed several times, but recommended taking a photo of offending car's license plate. This has happened to me several times and I observed it with a pregnant lady and her partner. Someone is going to get badly injured.
